Geometry of Moon Alignment. Its apparent motion is somewhat different over several days. Different size and different step shift within an interval. Fascinating.
We were in the park and this 'dragonfly with a wasp's body' was flying around the pond. It landed on the bushes nearby so I ran over and hovered my p&s over it on the macro setting and hoped for the best. I took 6 shots and this was the only one in focus, I was so chuffed!

Infrared treatment of the Duomo (cathedral) in Florence show all the repeated geometrical patterns used in decorating and creating the church. Reminds me of my fractal geometry class (repetition and self-similarity) back in college.
Which reminds me - I need to go back to Florence - so many things to see still! :-)
