There were several crashes, most due to excessive speed in the turns or design flaws. I'm not sure if this sled crashed, but that coat looks awfully close to getting stuck under the moving wheel ;-) There are about 30 shots of this day - hope to not bore our Flickr friends, but had to post them all, so that other parents and kids could see them (most don't know about Flickr yet :)
Today, February 29, 2008, was Race Day. The 7th grade class worked all week to build their sleds, organize their teams, create their fight song and prepare for victory. This event culminates the IDU (Interdisciplinary Unit) Week, where they studied about Alaska and various works of Jack London including The Call of the Wild . Mistakes that parents made for their children:
The thinking of secondary problems is considered a prerequisite for students to learn more advanced programs later. Therefore, many families have hired tutors to consolidate and improve their children's knowledge. However, not all level 2 tutors know how to teach algebra in a very formal way, and then lead to negative influences on the students.
Teaching and learning mathematics should be combined with a reasonable rest, for example in the hour must also have at break. If math tutors keep students learning continuously, they will quickly get tired, so that their minds are not flexible enough to solve math problems anymore. A reflection of a geometric glass dome on top of the Art and Architecture Building at the UIC. The dark glasses that separate the staircase and the work rooms behind it (where the ladder is) multiplied the glass dome above it.
This is a set of aluminum castings that a lady in foundry class made. Geometric shapes embellished with some copper jewelry type elements. I thought they were very cool.

The thing up there is by my 5yo son. It is not somebody with his/her hands up, as it seems to me.
My son told me that it was one of the angry birds in a slingshot.
