A minimalist architectural composition capturing the repeating rhythm of balconies and shadows. The play of light and geometry transforms the building facade into an abstract pattern, blurring the line between photography and graphic design. Calm tones and clean lines emphasize the modern and almost surreal character of the scene.

Friends, it's holiday time. Time for shopping, dine-out, here is the LARGE view of this Geometric Dome in Westfield Mall, San Francisco.

Tech Note: 5-exposure DRI blending manually. Nikkor fisheye 10.5mm. Believe me, almost I had to lie down in the floor to cover the whole 360 deg angle. I'm sure people around me were thnking me to be crazy LOL:-). Other shot of the westfield mall.

Friends: Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas !!!

The Reichstag building is a historical edifice in Berlin, Germany, constructed to house the Imperial Diet of the German Empire. It was opened in 1894 and housed the Diet until 1933, when it was severely damaged after it was set on fire. After World War II, the building fell into disuse; the parliament of the German Democratic Republic (the Volkskammer) met in the Palast der Republik in East Berlin, while the parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany (the Bundestag) met in the Bundeshaus in Bonn.

The ruined building was made safe against the elements and partially refurbished in the 1960s, but no attempt at full restoration was made until after German reunification on 3 October 1990, when it underwent a reconstruction led by architect Norman Foster. After its completion in 1999, it once again became the meeting place of the German parliament - the modern Bundestag.

The Centennial Hall (German: Jahrhunderthalle, Polish: Hala Stulecia (formerly Hala Ludowa - People's Hall)) is a historic building in Wrocław, Poland. It was constructed according to the plans of architect Max Berg in 1911–1913, when the city was part of the German Empire. As an early landmark of reinforced concrete architecture, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006.

Or Melbourne Central as I think it is really known. But you know, from the outside it looks like a giant bra cup, one of those old school ones that is sewn, or of the weirdo sewn padded variety beloved of Gaultier, particularly during the 80s. Anyhoo, yes, you guessed it, another Melbourne shot, although this time we move away from the laneways. Don't worry, we'll return sometime soon.

Melbourne Central, from what I gathered walking around it for half an hour, is a rather large shopping centre with a major train station below it. And on the site, is this heritage building that the bra encompasses. The whole centre is built around this, so you get this rather disconcerting feeling when next to this old heritage building but in a modern shopping centre at the same time.Quite odd.

NB: This is a photo I took a few months after first starting to take photos but for some reason it turns up on the flickr matrix somewhere and a whole lot of you are directed to it. Please come and check out my more recent work here or at one of the below locations. And thank you very much for the visit.

I created this using Apophysis, Photoshop, and KaleidoFX. The volcanic eruptions in Hawaii were the inspiration for this image.
