Field trip to the awesome creative computer recycling resource Free Geek in Portland Oregon. Volunteer Coordinator + Shawn Furst gave an extended tour. Wow Free Geek is amazing - the place was full of activity. We started off the tour with a session of Open source graphic design programs and made some cheesy newsletters. We sledge hammered a hard drive, and saw tons of penguins. You can tour Free Geek yourself on Saturdays. Go to freegeek.org for more info
