I bought my GF this piece of fine gaming equipment for Christmas. It'll hande CoD4 and L4D, HL2:EP2 all at max graphics. In short:

 

3.0Gb Dual-Core Intel E8400

4GB OCZ Platinums PC6400 (800MHz)

GeForce 9800GTX+ 512Mb (1.1GHz)

Thermaltake Blue Orb II

620W Corsair PSU (Almost Silent)

WD Caviar HDD 500Gb (7200rpm)

 

All sitting nicely into a Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3, and lovingly wrapped in an Antec 900.

 

All in all a fine gaming rig. And tbh, at a bargain too!

 

I haven't started assembling it yet, as it's still AGES to Christmas, and my GF wants to help braille it together xD.
