The Castle was built around 1500 right before Giuliano would became pope under the name "Giulio II"
The room is small (6-8 meters across) the entrance is low and narrow (there's no door, maybe stolen centuries ago)
Openings on the wall connect to a network of clay pipes bringing in hot air.
Air was heated up by a large fire place in a small room right next to the sauna.
Beside this round room there where real lockers room and some small pools.
The Cardinal and his guests (mostly men, the cardinal was well known for being gay) could reach the bath area, undress, relax and go back helped by personal servants who could wait in a separate room
