June 2000.
I was taking a shot of my daughter (right) when this intruder gate-crashed my frame and disappeared from sight before I could take my eye off the viewfinder. Well, happy accident. I think this turned out to be a fun photo. Since I didn't see her (or maybe him, who knows) and her face is not shown, I really don't need a model release to post the pic here, do I? :) You know, there's a slight wardrobe malfunction involved here :)

Love was in the air as the happy couple Theodore & Angeline took on their "WANderlust World Tour" (so they call it), or perhaps rather simply, the joining of two to become... "wan".

The event, which featured a host of big names from the industry speaking and advising start ups as well as other businesses, is now in its third year.
Today’s schedule included round table discussions on big issues such as the state of the start up environment in Europe today as well as chats on mobile payments and the relationships between media and the tech world.
Pinterest was founded by Ben Silbermann, Paul Sciarra, and Evan Sharp 9of course you all knew that) and today at the Web Summit in Dublin I had the opportunity to photograph Paul Scirra together on stage with Michael Birch (the founder of Bebo)

During the late 1990s German manufacturer Neoplan attempted to gatecrash the Hong Kong bus market which until then had, of course, been dominated by British builders. Its Centroliner double-decker was taken by both New World First Bus and KMB, although bar one experimental example for the latter (see next shot but one...) no more followed. Here one of the KMB examples passes through Central on Hong Kong Island with an express service from the New Territories. It's AP72 (JU 5808) and was new in 1999.

VIKINGS LATEST
The Battalion returned from a generous Christmas leave on 10 January to a New Year and new Commanding Officer. Lt Col Mick Aston MC has taken over the Battalion and immediately the Battalion has seen the appearance of 'tiger teams' and 'devil dogs'.
However, despite his declaration that he is 'Australian by birth and East Anglian by the grace of God', no one has been willing to mention the Ashes!
The Vikings had a busy February as final preparations were completed for the 6 week Exercise ASKARI THUNDER in Kenya. Concurrent to this activity, the majority of the Battalion took the February half-term leave, in addition to some pre-exercise leave, before deploying.
The Battalion successfully deployed over the period 23 - 28 February and will return in early April.
During Exercise ASKARI THUNDER, the soldiers have put into practice many of the lessons learned from the smaller exercises conducted on Sennybridge and Salisbury Plain training areas.
The Kenyan exercise area has provide a 'hot-and-high' environment that has resembled the challenging terrain in Afghanistan. Battlegroup HQ has also been exercised in the battle planning process and engaged with a number of attached arms in a real time environment.
This will allow the command to build on the highly successful attendance at the Command and Staff Trainer in Warminster earlier this year.
ASKARI THUNDER has been the first step in a series of mission-specific training and exercises planned for the Battalion. All the steps leading towards the fruition of another successful Vikings deployment in the future.
Looking forward to the late spring and early summer, the Battalion will further hone its skills across a staggered deployment on Exercise PRAIRIE THUNDER 1, 2 and 3 in Alberta, Canada.
The exercise, which will take place at the British Army Training Unit Suffield, will see the Unit acting as the 'enemy', whilst supporting the training of the Light Dragoons, Kings Royal Hussars, 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards and 3rd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment.

With typical American kindness and generosity, we were refused point blank, by the lady organiser, to pay for anything.

Posing with Roger was a bundle of fun, but when I sat on his lap and he began moving my lips I knew it was time for a sharp exit.
Roger DeCourcey has established himself as one of Britain's leading ventriloquist entertainers, and two highly successful seasons in Las Vegas plus an engagement at the giant O'Keefe Centre in Toronto, Canada have added an international reputation to his credit.
He has appeared several times at the London Palladium, including a Royal Command Performance, and has starred in theatres and night clubs throughout the UK including summer seasons and pantomimes.
Roger was born in London and started in show business as an Opera singer. As a singer he moved to the West End stage, appearing in such musicals as Sweet Charity,Two Cities and Company. It was over an engagement in the domestic cabaret circuit that he discovered "The Bear" and he then decided to develop an act around ventriloquism.
The irrepressible "Nookie Bear" first delighted viewers in the TV Series "New Faces" from which Roger went on to win the 1976 Grand Final.
Since then TV appearances have been numerous including his own series and guest spots on virtual very light entertainment show.
Roger continues to enjoy outstanding success in all spheres of the entertainment industry and is very much in demand traveling worldwide to various functions both as a cabaret artist, and after-dinner speaker.
Roger is a keen golfer and was Captain of the Variety Club of Great Britain Golfing Society in 1992 and Captain of the Vaudeville Golfing Society in 1996.
He was made King Rat of the Grand Order of Water Rats in 1994 which is the highest position in the Order. This meant a full year of charity work.
Roger has now opened a management agency representing all forms of entertainment Dick Horsey Management Ltd and has sole representation of Rick Wakeman whilst also representing some of this country’s top entertainers.

We pretty much gatecrashed this thing at half one in the morning, but the people were lovely and plied us with excellent potato salad.
Also: I think the house is a converted old railway station. But I was pretty drunk, so maybe it's not.
