Personally, I don't dig in dirt. Here in Florida you really have to love gardening to do it, with the heat and bugs, and hard, sandy soil, and I don't! My friend, Sarah, does, though, and last year she planted a small garden in my backyard. The garden implements are still on my back pourch. I liked the way the light hit her little, blue shoes. I took this shot during a heavy rain, looking out my back slider, through the glass. The wind was blowing all the lightweight stuff around.....
Our garden hedgehog. Normally record him on the trail camera but for this photo I've set up my camera with a PIR trigger. Photo Kevin Keatley, UK. Camera D800, Lens Nikon 16-35mm@22mm, F16, 1/200 Sec., ISO 320, Camera and flash on manual. Set the camera up on a C14 Double Bean bag and the PIR trigger on one of our C22 Ultra pods. Our Bean bags are ideal for low level photography - They are quick and easy to position and to set up your camera, flashes and triggers.
I redressed another girl, I'm doing great! Unfortunately, she has a broken ankle. I was able to put it together, but who knows how long it will hold. Sekiguchi really has serious quality control issues.
John and I took on a project that seemed like a-can-of-worms, or a-never-ending-story. While staying at the daughters property, we volunteered helping with the digging up of the old cement pavers near the back garden. Not a large area, however, we discovered and old septic tank from years gone by, buried underneath. A job too big for any of us, we left one huge holy mess and my daughter got in contact with a local plumber.

Our garden hedgehog set up. I've set my camera up on a C14 Double bean bag for an eye level hedgehog shot and used a PIR trigger on our C22 Ultra-pod to fire the camera remotely. The diffuser on the flash helps to soften any harsh shadows. Photo Kevin Keatley, UK. I use a Nikon D800, The lens I use is a Nikon 16-35mm, The settings I use are : F16 - F18, 1/200 Sec., ISO 250 - 320, with the camera and flash on manual. www.wildlifewatchingsupplies.co.uk/retail/acatalog/Equipm... I found this Spanish artist on the Artsy site a week or two ago and immediately fell in love with his work. Sr. Saus is about 60 years of age now and shows his work in several galleries, mainly in Europe. If you are inclined, there are over ninety images of paintings by him on the Artsy site and many elsewhere.
A fugitive three-pronged garden rake thinks it's found the ultimate hiding place, but the cunning plan has one fatal flaw...
Terra Cotta Home & Garden, a seasonal retail location in an older log home in Kleinburg, Ontario. The exterior is a cornucopia of collectibles.
I created this panorama as 3 merged images. Quite frankly, it was too cold to change from the medium telephoto I had been using to capture the collectibles close-ups. So I used the panorama approach instead with the telephoto lens.

Piga are used as garden "tools". They are essential for tilling the soil, and are also used as currency. This woman is braiding a pig harness.

I make my enchanted miniature furniture one at a time… from start to finish. There is no assembly line in my workshop. No elves either. For this reason, this is truly one-of-a-kind. I keep no written “recipes” for the color or instructions for the items I create to put into/on my miniature furniture. Pieces on this gardener’s bench are from nature or created at the time I was working on it from materials at hand at that time. Thus, it cannot be duplicated.
This is my original idea, design, and story.

This shed is 40 something, but was "remodeled" with leftover roofing shingles, siding pieces, and a new door and frame. It holds all of my gardening tools and bird food. I love my little brown shed! When the animals see me go in there, they gather round in the trees and bushes because they know it's feeding time!
