Goes Netherlands should not be missed by anyone visiting Belgium it’s just a few extra train stops on your journey but well worth effort and your reward is seafood at its freshest, Zeeland province supplies most of the moules for Belgian bellies in their most favorite dish of mussels and fries. The older I get the more I want to be up for an early morning walkabout to see my location, if you are especially lucky you will see night turn to sunrise and soft scenes painted in golden horizontal light usually just shared only with early commuters or garbage guys. There is something so magical about exploring a place that you have never been and to try to capture the tranquil feel of having the place all to yourself if only for a fleeting hour or so.

On a rare snowy night, I took my camera and wandered around my town. I didn't aim for a garbage bag from the beginning.

Ibises are a group of long-legged wading birds in the family Threskiornithidae, that inhabit wetlands, forests and plains. Ibises usually feed as a group, probing mud for food items, usually crustaceans. It is widespread across much of Australia. It has a predominantly white plumage with a bare, black head, long down curved bill and black legs. They are monogamous and highly territorial while nesting and feeding. Most nest in trees, often with spoonbills or herons. Due to its increasing presence in the urban environment and its habit of rummaging in garbage, the species has acquired a variety of colloquial names such as tip turkey; and bin chicken, and in recent years has become an icon of popular culture, being regarded with passion, wit, and, in equal measure, affection and disgust. 17595

Another set of Genereal Electrics powering an empty garbage train, a new way at the time to remove all your household debris to a landfill, are at Croton waiting for a crew. These trains were somewhat welcomed after the fall of the General Motors plant at Tarrytown, NY providing a second set of freight trains for the east shore of the Hudson.
