Vide grenier /. Garage Sale. Chantemerle, Hautes-Alpes, France

Got these from the icky estate sale yesterday. I was expecting her to price them at about 10 bucks a piece (a canister set was $65!), but they were a buck fifty. So I got them.

"How much for this super cute balloon?"

"Well, for you...free?"

"Free? Gosh, that is really nice. How about I treat you to some cupcakes and gummy worms?"

"It's a date!"

"I didn't say anything about a date, I am only 6."

"Oh, I was just kidding'"

"So was I."

We went to a grage sale and found her -- she needs work and Jon swears he can fix her -- we shall see! We have a good lampshade for her, too.

I'll keep you posted on the progress.

I got this little beauty at a garage sale........

This was received in trade for an empanada.

Apparently it's a NUT SERVER. Which is very specific.

As a late sleeper, I am not big on garage sales. By the time I roll out of bed, the good stuff has been snapped up. This case is the exception to the rule. The shirt and the pants that became the skirt belonged to a woman from England. She bought them in the 70s, when I calculate she was a middle-aged swinger. Like me now. I like to imagine the places my clothes might have gone before I got them.

I'm not quite sure how I ended up with this box, but I don't think it's going to fit in with our new loft decor.

I was looking at the inventory and found out there are quite a lot of poses made last summer o. O

To be frank, they may not be as good as the new ones but i think they actually look okay in pictures hahah

There're fatpack available which only costs L 250 for 25 poses! WTH!

The duration of this sale is not yet known so grab them when they're still here :D!

p.s. Guys' poses also available!

This is the spirit of garage sales past. This is where garage sales go to die.

This is litterbugs.

At the garagesale we had last weekend, there was this handsome guy, who picked out this dress and cardigan and said his girlfriend had sent him to buy this for her.

I'm sure he made it all up, because we had just opened up. But than he said that I was about the size of his girlfriend, and if I could perhaps try on the dress and cardigan for him.

I hesitated, went inside our house, and came back into our garden like this, but with the cardigan open.

Than he asked if I could close the topbutton of my cardi, and than another two.

He than called his girlfriend on his mobile and asked her to come over. I don't know why he hadn't done that in the first place.

He asked me to stay like this until he would be back with his girlfriend.

So I wore this dress and cardigan all afternoon, but I never saw him back again...

Anyway, I don't really mind, I think I I still quite like to wear them myself.

I found these late last summer - if only I could find the matching coffee service!
