I totally admit it.....I’m addicted to my iPad and iPhone.....but I’ve recently noticed a change in how my right eye feels. Lins has used computer glasses at work for a couple of years and they have helped reduce eye strain. Now, articles have been published about the damage blue light can do to the photoreceptors in the eye. Once they are damaged, they do not recover.

My Mom developed macular degeneration in one eye and even with treatment, she lost partial vision. Because of her, I am more suspectible to this condition.

I recently bought these two pairs of computer/gaming glasses to wear. The front pair have clear lenses, which is great when editing photos, but only protect 25% against blue light. The back pair are called ‘gamers’ glasses, have a yellow tint, and reduce blue light by 75%. They do make a big difference in how my eyes feel while looking at the screen, especially at night.
