~ "MACRO MONDAYS" ~ "MEMBER'S CHOICE ~ GAMES OR GAME PIECES" ~ MACROMONDAYS" ~ "GAMESORGAMEPIECES" ~ "CARS AND PEOPLE IN GAME OF LIFE" ~ Each piece is only 1" long, 1/2" in the front.... ~
When I read this week's MacroMonday's theme "Games or Game pieces" I initially thought of the game pieces from our Monopoly game. But these kind of 'pieces' shots seemed predictable. So I chose a game controller from an X-box instead.
After trying out various angles and compositions I noticed that leaving out more of the 'it's a game controller' context seemed to deliver a better image. More abstract, but still recognizable.
Anyways, this week's theme was fun to shoot, have a great MacroMonday!!
If the kids are going to leave their toys behind when they move out, I might as well find a use for them! These are really tiny. I had to use an extension tube to get close enough for this photo.
Macro Mondays: Games or Game Pieces
A small (less than 3") keyring version of the board game Clue aka Cluedo.
No Detective's Notes or suspect tokens were included. No rope or wrench were possible weapons either!
this might have been my favorite for the macromondays' theme of games/game pieces, although it's not the one i posted :)

Macro Mondays- Games or Game Pieces
One of my favorite things in life is video games. The three in this picture are some of my favorites, but none more than Fallout.
Old Norse strategy game, the fox must catch the geese by leaping them. This is a close up of the fox with a line of geese behind. The board and pieces were made by myself as a christmas present for my daughters a couple of years ago.

My kids have a ton of stuff to go through for themes like this. Trod on this guy as I went into my middle child's room so took that as a sign. The manual game of this is not as much fun as you have to build the pig walls and they always seem to fall over before you can launch the birds. Oh well, fun for the theme and reminded me to play it again on my phone. HMM!
These days polarisation within the society is a big force. Sometimes the only thing that seems to matter is getting things our way, no matter what that can mean for someone else. To some people, getting their way always feels like a win. Even some of the most powerful people right now grew up, believing that winning is the most important thing, leading us into dangerous circumstances. But, like many of us know, sometimes giving in a bit, to make someone else stronger, can be a bigger benefit for us all, which makes the society the bigger winner. So please be a little gentle to each other, life isn't about winning it all. And war is a game that can't be won, and therefor it's no game at all. HMM
Thank you for taking a look, and for your faves and comments! I really appreciate it!!!
