cafe la siesta. an excellent retro videogame bar. the drink menu has 8 bit representations of the drinks.
Okay - I bought this from a charity shop after my original... vanished... but still - the nostalgia.
The buttons on the game boy colour allow the player to interract directly with the game.

As a child of the 90s I grew up playing GameBoy for a good part of my childhood, in fact I bought this GameBoy for my mom since I remember watching her play it a lot when I was little.
I think that for those of us who grew up with the GameBoy and who are still into gaming, the GameBoy is wonderful to keep around, even if it's just for nostalgia purposes. It's a lot more durable than a lot of the current age gaming systems and I found that even my 20 year old games still work just fine on this model. You can button mash all you want and it won't break, and it's very easy to held and convenient to carry around, since it's a lot slimmer that the traditional GameBoy model.
I think it's a great portable gaming system to introduce to young children, who haven't been introduced to gaming yet. While it's true that the current generation of gamers might show no interest in the GameBoy since it's 8bit, I think a young child will find entertainment in playing classic games like Mario Land, Dr.Mario, the early editions of Pokemon and many more. Plus even if they don't find it entertaining, you will =)
