Looking forward to this one. I want to approach it a bit differently. Not just overhead like a flat lay.
Happy Macro Mondays
Part of a Welsh Tic Tac Toe Game to fit in with today's Macro Mondays 'misfit'. I was hesitant in using this in case it was construed as Politically Incorrect.
I found an older Monopoly game at a Flea Market a few years ago. I love it. All the classic pieces were within it. Visually it is such a lovely board game.

This backgammon game is from at least the 70's. I found it in a pile of things at my grandma's. I don't recall her ever playing it. I am not even sure how to play this game. I think it is rarely played anymore? I hear it is a game of gambling and luck. I am not good with either! Haha! I think I will steer clear of this game. ;)
Another impromptu MM. I am still trying to get the house organized so this was the only game out to take a shot of. I know there will be a million chess pieces for the challenge and I apologize for my lack of creativity. The only thing I liked about this image was the shadows. I guess I have to like the shadows considering I didn't get a chance to take a MM shot until it was time for bed and the only light was our living room lamp, haha!
A miniature dominoes stone and a big stone used as a background and underground.
The miniature is only 1,6 cm long, the total image is a little over 3cm.
Happy Macro Monday.

HMM and HSoS to all participants!
The earliest variation of 'Sorry! ' can be traced back to England, with William Henry Storey having filed for a patent in 1929. It was sold in the UK by Waddingtons and then Parker Brothers in the USA in 1934. A fun game for all.

Every move is a game with gravity! The marbles of both players are ready to go at the far end. The assignment: bring the marbles to the other side. But... Yali does not stay in balance and gravity determines whose turn it is. On a rectangular game board that is tiltable, there are 8 heavy marbles for each player. Whoever can move their marbles to the other side first is the winner. Gravity always determines whose turn it is: the player to whose side the game board (= Yali) tilts is the player's turn.
Really must buy some chess pieces at some point, only seem to have plastic pieces to shoot! Our Monopoly set appears to have been recruited to our sons Uni abode.

For Macro Mondays group theme "In the Mirror"
I'll admit that it was more difficult than I had expected and I have a lot to learn, but I couldn't spend any more time on this tonight. I did end up with reflections and artifacts, so I didn't get it right. I'll be coming back to try this technique again! A good challenge!

Sorry. Most of my retirement time is spent doing music. But I could not miss this theme. Excellent theme.

Donkeys card game rules: how does this game work?
Donkeys is a simple card game that can be played with 3 or more players.
What is the goal of the game?
In the Donkey card game, you try to get four cards of the same value in your hand. For example, ♥ ♠ ♣ ♦ 8 or ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ H. There are so many sets in the game when players participate.
The cards are shuffled and each player receives four cards. Each round, the players simultaneously pass one card face-down to the player to his or her left.
Loser of the game
If a player has a complete set, an agreed signal is executed. For example, placing your thumb on the table. The player who does this last gets the letter 'E'. The player who is the first to get all the letters of "EZEL ( 'DONKEY') is the big loser. Or the 'donkey', whatever you want to call it...
