For all you eagle eyed out there, the horizon may look a little tilted but that's a heavy rain shower sweeping in. Honest.....

Vacation bound. See ya'll when I get back mid July ♥

A simple field road covered with frost.

Ooky leafless trees atop the Blue Ridge during yesterday’s fog

This is Robbie, the Robin Redbreast. He was perched on the car mirror for ages, facing me with his bright red chest on full display. I ran in and grabbed the camera and he turned around and faced his back to me. Maybe he was camera shy?

Turns out this is his favourite place to perch. I spot him most days and he's left a heap of white messages for me on the mirror and car to remind me that it's his place. He comes back multiple times throughout the day and hops in front of the mirror - not sure if he knows he is looking at himself, or if he thinks there's another Robin inside the mirror. He seems happy enough whichever it may be.

A lone tree stands vigil in the White Mountains above Deep Springs Valley near the California/Nevada border. The mountain ridges in the distance belong to the northern part of the Inyo range, and the Schulman Grove of the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest is behind me.

This is a very old shot from when I was first learning photography. I thought for certain that it was already in my photostream, but I found out the other day that it wasn't. So here it is, a blast from the past.

… This replica Spitfire IX serves as gate guardian to RAF Museum Hendon. It is wearing the markings of a 601 Squadron Spitfire XVI based at RAF Hendon during the war.

"We're super spooky, I promise!"

Well, I may have only gotten around to it actually on the day but I finally managed to rustle up Halloween costume photos for this year! I think Ayela really smashed it out of the park, and went for a much more classic demon than me!

I have discovered though that it's kinda' difficult to create lighting etc' that works for two very different looking avatars, but I think the end result was still cool none the less!
