Something is about to...

.

Because one can't have too many flowers around.

I sat there staring at this reflection for a good long while after shooting this. As photographers, it's so easy to get wrapped up in getting our shot and not taking in what we're capturing. This beautiful reflection in Central Park's Lake demanded a little more than a quick shutter press.

On another note, this Hipstamatic combo (GSQUAD/D-Type) is slowly making its way to the top of my favorites list.

And leaving Queanbeyan now, I thought a nice colourful look at the suspension bridge from a few days ago. Never fear Jonathan, it's all safe now!

A little fun with the Water My Photo app. This is Manhattan's iconic Flatiron Building.

Shot in Hipstamatic with the GSQUAD lens and D-Type Plate film.

Instead of the end of the world, we're looking at it as the start of a new cycle.

Officially the challenge for July with Embrace the Grain is to shoot 127 film. But as I have no 127 cameras I went with their plan B option. Using one of the many options available to mobile users. This image was taken with Hipstamatic using the G-Squad lens and Ina's 69 Preset.

Went out on an early-morning explore which turned out to be a complete waste of my time. The place looked like it was ransacked by vandals. I'll refrain from stating what I think should be done with those senseless bastards.

It wasn't a total loss though. Turns out that area of New Jersey is absolutely gorgeous in wintertime. Add to it some fog and I was in heaven. GSQUAD/D-Type has officially taken its spot at the top of my favorites list.
