Charlie went to Chuck E. Cheese and got a pair of glasses. His mom left earlier in the day for a business trip, and this was the photo I sent her to cheer her up. Photographed Wednesday, June 25, 2008.
My grandfather on my mother's side. I can really see myself in this photo!

Opening-night festivities for the Denver Center Theatre Company's "Animal Crackers." The evening began with a pre-show party in a speakeasy called "The Loading Dock." Pictured: Jill Schwager. This boisterous comedy about the theft of a valuable painting from a society dinner party is quintessential Marx Brothers mayhem. "Animal Crackers" plays through May 11 in the Stage Theatre at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Call 303-893-4100 or go to www.denvercenter.org. Photo by John Moore.
