TWENTY STREET ARTISTS were commissioned by the band “Green Day” to create a painting based off of a Song off their new album. Then the painting will go on tour with them as a Mini Art show in each city (curated by Logan Hicks).

Dope stencil artist and friend Logan Hicks has teamed up with band ‘Green Day’ to create a traveling street art exhibition which will be touring with Green Day on their world tour. Some of the artists involved include Logan Hicks (of course), M-City, Ron English, Broken Crow and Sixten. These artists have created pieces which are inspired by Green Day’s latest album, 21st Century Breakdown.

Green Day - April 7th 2009 at The Independent in San Francisco. This was the first Green Day show in 3 years and featured the World debut of their first new album in 5 years, 21st Century Breakdown, which they performed in sequence in its entirety (18 songs).
Green Day at Patriot Center, Fairfax, VA on Thursday, 4-4-13.

La agrupación de rock Green Day se ha asociado con el famoso actor y productor de cine Tom Hanks para llevar a la gran pantalla el musical inspirado en el disco de los californianos llamado ‘’American Idiot’’.
La película, que comparte el mismo nombre, ha sido adquirida por Universal y será dirigida por Michael Mayer, quien también fue el director de la obra en Broadway y trabajará con el guionista Dustin Lance Black, informa Reuters.
Hanks estuvo detrás de la película musical ‘’Mamma Mia!’’, que incluía canciones del cuarteto sueco ABBA.
La versión de Broadway de ‘’American Idiot’’ terminará su temporada el 21 de abril, con el cantante de la banda, Billie Joe Armstrong como protagonista en la producción. La obra cuenta la historia de la carrera del grupo.
