I'm thinking of painting (or hanging cloth in) my office to look like an important computer graphics image. This image is a photon-mapped raytrace of a metal and glass sphere in a box with 2 colored walls and one light. This frame is 13 hours into a 26 hour total render, after 100 light bounces. The 'Jensen' box, a variant of the 'Cornell' box.
Gotta love this robust, Western-style font. Embossed lettering with gold-tone details. Scan of a vintage Christmas card from my personal collection.

Looks very nice on black.
Heavily inspired by Joel Peter Witkin, as I am studying him (amongst many other photographers and artists) in my current Graphics exam project.
I threw this idea together very quickly, and I'm actually pretty happy with the outcome. It doesn't really express how I've been feeling lately, as most of my work does. But I did enjoy experimenting with the editing techniques.
Oh and I know this is extremely late, but shh. I got a job last week at a pub and they had me working full time hours, so i had no time to let my feet recover let alone do school work or photographs. But hey here it is.
Also I am noticing the sudden surge in self portraits that I'm creating. I guess I just enjoy being able to express myself totally personally. I am also noticing the gradual loss of clothing in my photographs. Makes me nervous and uncomfortable. But it's definitely good to step out of your comfort zone once in a while.
Wow. Ramble.
