The Grand Hotel Atlantis was a magnificent place in a lovely ski resort somewhere in Eastern Germany. In the 1920s, the town flourished under the rise of tourist numbers when snow sports became vastly popular among the wealthy population. The first class hotel offered its guests a huge amount of leisure activities and when it was built it was one of the finest and most modern accommodations in the whole region. It was in a top quality location and beautiful to look at. As in the case of many facilities of the former GDR, the owner of this hotel changed after the German reunification. This was the beginning of the fall of Hotel Atlantis. The trust sold the building complex in 1991. Two years later it was reopened as a sports hotel. But the operators became bankrupt only a few years later. Since 1998 this place is vacant and rotting away.
All the local New Yorkers were going about there business while all us tourists were taking in the view...
Les images ne sont pas de grande qualité, vu l'éloignement, mais la scène de chasse mérite sa publication !

Night shot of the Western side of the Grand mosque where the main prayer room is located. as you see at night the mosque shines in blue color which corresponds to the phase of the moon.
I really can't tell if it's more beautiful in day light or in the grand blue night lights.
Grand Geyser Eruption - Upper Geyser Basin - Yellowstone National Park (Teton County - Wyoming WY - USA) 16/10/2016 - ND_7200_008687_modificat_01
The Grand Prismatic is the largest and most famous of the hot springs in Yellowstone National Park. It is 370 feet in diameter and 160 feet deep with a flow of 560 gallons per minute. The blue water has an approximate temp of 189 degrees and is clearest because few thermophiles live in the highest temperatures. As the water spreads and cools, microbial mats form with vivid colors of yellow, orange and brown. Each color is from different microbes that prefer different temperatures. Their colors are from carotenoids produced during photosynthesis. The white areas are created when the mineral rich water dries.
Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park. Such a wild place Yellowstone is. Like another world. The smells the views. It's one of the strangest, if not the strangest, places I've ever been.
McLaren 570GT at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Thanks to the awesome folks at McLaren Philadelphia for bringing this beauty out today and for letting me snag some shots of it in the sunshine before the crowds showed up. This spec is pure fire!!

The T. A. Moulton Barn is all that remains of the homestead built by Thomas Alma Moulton and his sons between about 1912 and 1945. It sits west of the road known as Mormon Row, in an area called Antelope Flats, between the towns of Kelly and Moose. Now lying within Grand Teton National Park, it is near the homestead of Andy Chambers. The property with the barn was one of the last parcels sold to the National Park Service by the Moulton family.

Grand is the tallest geyser on Earth to have a predictable eruption, its waters reaching heights of up to 200 feet in a short series of bursts (one to five) , separated by between 7 and 15 hours of inactivity. Eruptions typically last for ten minutes, and are followed by gradual replenishment of the 30 foot diameter pool above the vent. Although predicable to a degree, times are subject to an uncertainty of two hours plus or minus, so some patience may be needed to witness an eruption.
