Map and my GPS-Track. Originally, I planned to climb Mount Ruchi. Fresh fallen snow (of August 2008) was frozen, and it was impossible to climb without crampons.
This Google Earth screenshot picture shows the tracks of eight (from ten) daily tours I cycled during Eastern 2009. Altogether I did cycle 1044km there, the longest day being 161km with 2300m ascend.
I placed this map onto Puig de Ros, where we stayed in the Delta Hotel.

We took the Blue Star Ferry from Naxos to Piraeus and the train to Athens. A short subway trip to Sindagma got us to within walking distance to our hotel.

Map and my GPS Track. In the morning, I took the cable car to Lauchernalp. Since the schedule is of a rather lousy service (last cable car at 17.25 hours), I walked down to Wiler, where I arrived just before dark.
