The charmin' Garmin Geko's GPS track: left on and logging the whole time I was mobile in Hawaii. Shows where I left after picking up the car in Waikoloa Beach, clockwise to where I dropped it off at the airport 55 hours later, with side trips to Mauna Kea, lava flows on the coast, and a couple of caves & waterfalls.

The Geko 201 is excellent at storing tracks, and adapts well to either walking driving speed. It will store many dozens of hours of tracks like this, all in 88 grams of cuteness. Just keep some spare AAAs handy.

Max speed over 130km/h, it is quiet fast for gouge 1067mm.

Nerd GPS tool shows me where I went throughout the 3 days of snowboarding. Track across the canyon is the new Peak-2-Peak gondola that gets you from one mountain to the other.

That's 90K in vertical drop (covering 76 miles descending) over 3 days on the mountain(s). Fun wire-to-wire sessions, getting kicked out of the mid-mountain lodge each day by ski patrol, after a quick 10 minute cocoa refresher.

2013 Oct 19. Wonderful fall colors and awesome section of the Great Wall. They are doing some restoration work on the west end of this section shown. We got dropped off on the left side of map and picked up on right side. Great hike!
