On a site in Strathspey, Scotland. Thank's to Tim for this photo and to Bernhard for help with id of small scabious mining bee photos taken at the same time and location. BSCG is happy to confirm this Cairngorms Nature Action Plan shortlisted bee that has been losing habitat to controversially approved development is still managing to survive in the Cairngorms National Park. It is however in a rather precarious location near to unauthorised habitat damage and in an undesignated site. Various areas of exceptional invertebrate interest remain undesignated in Strathspey in the Cairngorms National Park.
