Strathspey, Scotland visiting devil's-bit scabious. This butterfly migrates to Scotland ( see eg www.ukbutterflies.co.uk/species.php?species=cardui )
Installing the gOS. I hope I didn't mess up my system. The partition program wanted to wipe the whole computer. Also there is a migration program that is taking my settings and other stuff from my windows install and moving them to this system! Brilliant!
On a site in Strathspey, Scotland. Thank's to Tim for this photo and to Bernhard for help with id of small scabious mining bee photos taken at the same time and location. BSCG is happy to confirm this Cairngorms Nature Action Plan shortlisted bee that has been losing habitat to controversially approved development is still managing to survive in the Cairngorms National Park. It is however in a rather precarious location near to unauthorised habitat damage and in an undesignated site. Various areas of exceptional invertebrate interest remain undesignated in Strathspey in the Cairngorms National Park.
