I saw something on Flickr that inspired me to make this series of AI art. I went from African Wood Goddesses to Chinese, Mexican, Japanese, Irish, Russian, Iranian, Afghani, then to mixing ethnicities because there is only one Race in the entire world and that is Human. You might find yourself in one of the many assimilations. I hope I used that word right. Making this compilation was almost like being on a drug. A drug of creativity. I don’t know if I got it entirely out of my system but I am sure I will be back at it I only have one image of a non binary person so I will go down that road when I have more time.

A brief personal note to my Flickr friends :
It hasn't rained in Portugal since June, or at least in my region, so most of my days have been watering the trees and plants in our garden!
With very little time during the day and the nights that go by quickly, I couldn't devote more time to Flickr these last few months!
But now finally the rain has returned and I can be more present, I apologize to all my followers and friends for the delay in comments, groups, challenges and even in response to your kind Flickr mails.

23 stories up, perched high above the city, Artist Muriel Castanis' "Corporate Goddesses" have looked down on San Francisco for almost 40 years now. Their artist, who died in 2006, is not known to ever have commented on them.
Here's a less common view of them. They've always made me think of the angels in Wim Wenders' Wings of Desire.

I'm working on an anthology of classic, epic poetry, which begins with selections from Homer's Iliad and Odyssey! :) I've replaced the Roman names with the Greek names: "RAGE, Sing, O goddess, the rage of Achilles son of Peleus, that brought countless ills upon the Greeks. Many a brave soul did it send hurrying down to Hades, and many a hero did it yield a prey to dogs and vultures, for so were the counsels of Zeus fulfilled from the day on which the son of Atreus, king of men, and great Achilles, first fell out with one another."

Shot with a Sony A77 and Sigma 50-500mm Lens! Instead of shooting the Nikon D4 & 600mm F/4 Prime on a tripod, I decided to be a bit more mobile this year, running around with a monopod! I also had my Nikon D800E slung over my shoulder with a 28-300 lens. :)
A beautiful day with tall, thin, fit goddesses at the beach!
Tomorrow I'll mostly be shooting with the D800E and the 150-500 Sigma lens. Getting up early! See you there!
