Shot taken with the Sony 400 2.8 gmaster lens and 1.4 teleconverter. I seriously had to put some time in for this shot, sat on my ass for ten hours for two 30 second moments when it took pity one me and perched up. Was worth every minute.

A beautiful stand of golden trees - hard to drive past this scene on a stunning late autumn day in the Manawatu!
