The gloaming is that time of day where the soft glow of dusk envelopes your soul. Where the nocturnal gatekeepers take control and anything seems possible. My favorite time of day.

Photo taken during sunrise when we visited Whitby. Haven't changed the settings on the camera so the time on the files is an hour ahead. I really did get up early, Martin 😂😂
Pleased to see the beautiful horses in the field so they had to be in the frame too. The one frolicking in the mud seems to be having so much fun. Definitely worth the early start just to watch him. 😅🐴
A glorious sunset overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Key Biscayne, Florida. The tiny speck of a boat on the left entering the picture is actually a huge cruise ship heading out to the Caribbean. Watching ships pass from a balcony is absolutely mesmerizing. Close your eyes; relax and put your feet up. Now dream. (Edited in Lightroom and Topaz)

Helleborus niger (Christmas rose) is the queen flower of winter and falls asleep gently when the other flowers awaken in early spring.
Here, a part of the stamens has fallen but the petals are still firm and bright
