Whittington Castle is a castle in Shropshire. Originally a motte-and-bailey castle, replaced in the 13th century by one with buildings around a courtyard. Near to the border of Wales and England, close to the historic fort of Old Oswestry.

I was told the house was once the home of Sooty, Sweep and Sue, famous and much loved puppets.
No rain actually came here at West Kirby as walkers came back over the sands from Hilbre, whilst beachgoers lingered.
The sky looked surreal, the air muggy and heavy.

Woolton Village, Liverpool.
My local village is blessed with a butcher's, Italian deli, cheese shop, farm shop, good pubs, restaurants, and much more. I did my weekly shopping without even entering a supermarket, each shop a social experience. No auto tills!
I live in Gateacre which is within Much Woolton.
