Today please rock me softly, because it is the day after Xday. On Wednesday this week I realized an "old" wish. Since month I'm training for a personal marathon around the Lake Constance in one day. And so I did. I started at 5 o'clock in the morning and finished the marathon at 8 o'clock in the evening. I made some breaks for short relaxing, photographing, eating and drinking. I did not want to finish the marathon in a special time. I only wanted to drive the 229 km in one day. And this was what I did. Local hero for myself.
So we all know now that "Cowboys ride harder" but please kill me softly with your smile after this really hard marathon. I was so tired after the marathon...;) Today I started the day with biking over the hill to buy fresh milk and eggs from the farmer. Also a really long and hard tour of 10 km...;)

Twenty-One: My favorite number since youth. So I will stand here at this place on 21. in summer 2020. Somehow interesting that it will be my first day next year on the island. Fate? Luck? Intuition?

I'm fascinated from Thailand again and again. The Thai people, the street food, the landscape and the sea. I will travel there two weeks again this year. Lucky me.
Next year I will have a long adventure-holiday in Thailand for 6 weeks. The ticket is right in front of me on the table. I could jump around with happiness. But I have to be careful. I've already got 3 bumps on my head this week from happily jumping around. Happiness can hurt, both internally and externally.

The biggest challenge of this photo was the editing because I had a hundert of dirt points on my viewer in the Sony A7R2. So I had to run over the photo one hundred times and more. Tap... tap... tap...
My camera and lenses were full of dust and dirt after my Thailand adventure. Perhaps I will contact a professional cleaning service from Sony. On Koh Samui there is every time a lot of dust in the air, where ever you are. But camera and lenses are not more than tools, they stay alive or not. Photographic life is raw...;)

Good morning dear Flickr friends,
when I say "Give me Five" I mostly mean it in the sense of give me five minutes for the editing of a photo. I never have more than 5 minutes for an editing, otherwise it was a shit shot...;) I try to compose and to catch the atmosphere, when I have my camera in my hands, not later.
My Thailand experiences are no elitist holiday experiences. I prefer to stay in simple houses, never eat in tourists restaurants, no European food, no pool, often no room service but a maximum of life quality and communication. No big luggage, only what I can carry in my hands...;) I found it out in the last years. Less is more!

Good morning, dear Flickr friends!
I surprised myself today. So I was surprised when I found myself on the jetty around 6:30. How the hell had I got there? Had the Corona Virus caught me and my brain was affected? Had I ended up in some bad TV series and couldn't get out? I winced and looked around. Fortunately, no bites nearby. I got ready for the "Games of Drone" series and really, it was freezing cold. I literally froze my ass. Drones take off at minus 4 degrees ... Ice crystals everywhere on my stuff. Where had I had breakfast and what was there? Fish? My back was freezing cold. I tried myself as a jetty dancer to keep myself supple. The Alpha 7 on the tripod also looked kind of frozen. We tried to be big friends, but the beast of tripod was freezing cold. I was rewarded with the wonderful position lights from the sight of my beautiful drone. It was worth giving the Local Hero. Everything went well and none of us crashed. Unfortunately I had parked my car in the middle of the market place and - hell the devil - sausage and cheese, fruit and vegetables around me and this damn orderly who immediately issued me a ticket. Become expensive photos again. I think I have to leave my bank details here for donations.
So take care, don't let it bite you and we'll see you ....

The damp meadows near the village of Gerden near Winsen/Luhe have been a popular gathering place for storks in recent days. Sometimes 30 storks come together.
Die feuchten Wiesen in der Nähe des Dorfes Gerden bei Winsen/Luhe waren in den letzten Tagen ein beliebter Sammelplatz für Störche. Mitunter kommen dort ca.30 Störche zusammen.

Ladies & Gentlemen, we have temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius. My short circuit fuses fly out all the time and there's no one around, who could get some cool air. Summer in Germany ...

It‘s not me but some days later my boards were ready!
I love SUP!
In 2017 I paddled over 400 km on SUP boards and 500 km in my kayak. I always paddle with good music and GPS...;) It is one of my passions to paddle in spring, summer and autumn. In the winter I prefer my bathtube with Ernie and the wonderful gang of rubber ducks :)

Good morning dear Flickr-friends of paydays,
this early evening I got a lot of gold while my paddling tour on my SUP in the bay of Bregenz/ Austria. There are these days, days of luck...!
You never thought about and than, you get it back "en masse"! You are enchanted from the first moment and you feel helpless like a little poodle on a SUP board, talking silly stuff to yourself like "Shit, I think I got it. Im a gold poodle".
It's like sitting in your car and your navigation system says: You've reached your destination Bro (Only you have the Bro-Version;) You are paralyzed and confused but you will find a way to manage all the luck...;)
What am I talking about. Thanks for the golden moment. Wow, I had so many lucky moments in the last years. I have to say thank you. And by the way, luck can come over night and also in Black & White. I got it!
