From the age of 11 until present day I have idolised this man. Out of all the celebrity deaths in 2016 this one has hit me the hardest. I feel like a part of my childhood has been ripped away. Funny how artists become a huge part of your life, through their songs you get to be personal with them.
🎧 George Michael - A Different Corner
So many songs to choose from, but this has a special place in my heart.
Taken at: Elysion
Sunrise over George's Island. Halifax, NS.
Craftsmen George, a carpenter/ guitar maker and Charlie, a sheet metal worker ... outside their workshop in Inverclyde
Georges Pond is part of Demarest Lloyd state park in South Dartmouth, an area of MA that gets little traffic. But the nature here is quite breathtaking. This panoramic was captured with my phone because my Canon 24-70mm F2.8 lens started to malfunction (Err 01, an indicator of expensive repair, unfortunately).
George Washington's Mt. Vernon Fireworks this weekend!!! Do you want to take fireworks shots like this?
Good news I am coming out of photo workshop retirement for one special benefit session on July 4 for the DC fireworks!!! To register just donate $100 to my sister's GoFundMe to help her recover from a serious stroke, and forward or DM me the receipt.
Meet up time is 5 p.m. to get our position. More details upon registration. I will only teach 8 people that night. Be one of them!!!
Views of the area around lake George. The autumn color is subdued this year due to summer's drought.
Liverpool.
This street was recently used in an episode of "Das Boot 2", shot to look like New York.

He takes a deep breath and...he loves the smell of his own farts:-) It was South Park that inspired me to make this drawing about George Clooney.
The trail continues above the lake on the opposite shore. When I first arrived in the basin, I took a snack break on those rocky outcrops middle right of frame, and scoped out this spot for camp when I realized the light and views were probably going to play out better on this side of the lake.
This is George - we got him from a local fleamarket from a stall called 'needful things (where are Stephen King fans?) on a rather rough day as a reminder of how to keep faith and smile, no matter what and also to enjoy the moment and good things in life (as you see he is a rather chubby guy who looooves good (and bad) food). He used to live in the kitchen but is now enjoying the light and shade on our frontporch as of lately welcoming visitors and making them chuckle.
