K’gari (Fraser Island) is the largest sand island in the world, containing a diverse range of features that are of exceptional natural beauty. The area has over 250 kilometres of clear sandy beaches with long, uninterrupted sweeps of ocean beach, including more than 40 kilometres of strikingly coloured sand cliffs, as well as spectacular blowouts. Inland from the beach are majestic remnants of tall rainforest growing on tall sand dunes, a phenomenon believed to be unique in the world. Half of the world’s perched freshwater dune lakes occur on the island, producing a spectacular and varied landscape. The world’s largest unconfined aquifer on a sand island has also been found here.

The rule we commonly call reality and the present, and the game we might call imagination, inspired by the past to create the future.

Perfection is born when the rule and the game go hand in hand.

The water of Lake McKenzie is made of pure rainwater, and it's so pure it can hold no life. The sand is white silica, and is soft and cool to walk on. This is one of the prettiest places I've even been

I'm sorry guys, I like this colors, hope you like it too, I've already upload this before with "Saturated Colors". I like this mood, how do you feel... :-)

One can not go to K'gari without visiting the SS Maheno shipwreck, for what's left of it.

It has an interesting story to it, more information here. www.fraserisland.net/fraser-island-history/fraser-island-...

Predeal-vedere din cabina

One of my favourite shots from 2025.

Sharing evening walks along the beach with these incredible animals is an experience that will stick with me. Being so close to one of Australia's top predators definitely gets the heart going at first, but you're quick to realise as is often the case with animals, the dingo's were not all that interested in our presence. Usually stopping for nothing more than a glance and then on their way.
