"Leave no stone unturned. Deeply explore the beauty of your life."
Quote - Neil Gaiman
My absence lasted a little longer than expected. Back from vacation, unexpected work on the garden turned out to be possible again....stones from the driveway removed and replaced with gravel for the parking space and borders for new plants.
Hope that now finally a quiet time will come. Happy start of your week ;-))

Something a little different, especially for a Tuesday. If yesterday was the before, this be the after. Also? These are difficult to shoot well. Still not happy with this one. But not that not happy that you don't get it. Holding things back when I have ALL THESE PHOTOS to rid myself of? Heh, not the answer.
“Have been unavoidably detained by the world. Expect us when you see us.”
― Neil Gaiman, Stardust
With big curious eyes she wanders around. Trying to see more than what is really seen. Looking deeper can be tiring at times so it's good to close your eyes.
Rest for awhile and leave the big eyes to someone else. ;)
P.S Thanks Ji, for the Photoshop tips. :3
“Things need not have happened to be true. Tales and dreams are the shadow-truths that will endure when mere facts are dust and ashes, and forgot.”

MJ in the style of comic and line art as envisioned by Neil Gaiman in The Sandman comics. This is my favorite Death look
and some stories as well, like Neil Gaiman's wonderful 'Coraline' :)
Update: Login still a mess to me!
“You will hear that she has left the country, that there was a gift she wanted you to have, but it is lost before it reaches you.
Late one night the telephone will sign, and a voice that might be hers will say something that you cannot interpret before the connection crackles and is broken.
Several years later, from a taxi, you will see someone in a doorway who looks like her, but she will be gone by the time you persuade the driver to stop. You will never see her again.
Whenever it rains you will think of her. ” Neil Gaiman

This is not a place, after all. It is between places. This is nowhere. A brief thought: I could stay here, abandon my quest, hang forever in the void, safe and cold and alone.

My new tattoo, a quote taken from The Sandman by Neil Gaiman (my favorite author): "Sometimes when you fall, you fly."

It is sad bokeh friday. I have nothing more to say. It's difficult to follow Neil Gaiman at the best of times. When hungry and in need of coffee? Even worse.
La Morte è la carta del mutamento e del ricominciare, anche se in questo concetto è inclusa la fine necessaria di qualcosa che esisteva in precedenza.
My entry to Daultons contest.
Neil is probably my favorite author, so it made sense to make him. Put dream next to him, cause it only felt right.
Sorry I haven't posted recently. Been on a bit of a creative dry spell, but I've got something to post at the end of the month that's related to the contest.
Thanks again for everyone who entered, loved seeing everyone's entries.
I fell asleep reading Gaiman last night, American Gods. Pg 466.
"You are the nearest thing I have to life. You are the only thing I have left, the only thing that isn't bleak and flat and gray. I could be blindfolded and dropped into the deepest ocean and I would know where to find you. I could be buried a hundred miles underground and I would know where you are."
Romantic yes? Also a little scary - she's dead after all. Heh. Ah Neil, you have such a way with words.
On the busy front? Calgon take me away. Pls. I am going to work tomorrow to have a break. Also? Flickr! Shhhhhhh you didn't really read that.

I give you a happy world. Why? Because it's Happy MondYay, and this world, while blue-ish? It is not blue.
Protagonist of Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" series. It's my sister's favorite comic series, and I made it as a surprise as she's out of town until Brickworld. The last of 6 busts I will be bringing to the con.
Thanks to my fellow V-Luggers for brainstorming about how to do the hair with me.
