Die Süderelbbrücken zwischen Wilhelmsburg und Harburg bestehen in ihrer heutigen Form seit dem Jahre 1979.
Die alte Brücke war nicht marode sie bot einfach zu wenig Gleise um den Verkehr Herr zu werden.
denoch snd die Tage der Brücke gezählt den der 40 Jahre alte Neubau ist baufällig auf den Pz-Gleis war zeitweise nur Tempo 30 erlaubt um der Brücke eine genügende Restlaufzeit zu verschaffen bis ein weiterer Neubau geplant ist.
4180 002 befährt hier das vorderste, auch Hafengleis genannte Gleis aus Hohe Schaar kommend gen Harburg.
[DE] Am Montag, den 07.06.2021 wurde der ICE Velaro D Triebzug 015 vom Siemens Rail Service Center in Dortmund zum Prüf- und Validationcenter Wegberg-Wildenrath überführt. Dabei sollte eigentlich eine neue Zweikraftlokomotive vom Typ Vectron Dual Mode zum Einsatz kommen. Tatsächlich lief es dann auf die Vossloh-eigene 4180 001 hinaus, die älteste von insgesamt nur 3 gebauten Lokomotiven des Typs G18, der dieselhydraulischen Schwester des um einiges erfolgreicheren dieselelektrischen Lokomotivtyps DE18.
[EN] On Monday, the 7th of June 2021 ICE Velaro D unit 015 was moved from the Siemens Rail Service Center in Dortmund to the Wegberg-Wildenrath Test and Validation Center. While it was originally planned for a new Siemens Vectron Dual Mode bi-mode locomotive to haul the train, in the end it came down to 4180 001, a Vossloh G18 locomotive hauling the train. This loco is the oldest of only 3 G18s built, being the diesel-hydraulic variant of much the much more popular diesel-electric DE18.
CPKC G18, led by a CP GP38-2, snakes through the farmlands of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. The train, a Newport VT to Farnham Quebec turn, operates with a Vermont Rail System crew and is seen here at Newport Center.

Naast de SP006 en de XR01 zette Spitzke SLG ook de nieuwe G18-SP-019 in bij de werkzaamheden. De loc werd ingezet om de dwarsliggerwagens van de ombouwtrein naar Bestwig te brengen. Op de morgen van 18 oktober 2016 zien we deze loc, met op de achtergrond de SP006 met zijn trein ter hoogte van Dellwig in een lekker herfstzonnetje (telefoonplaatje)

Fully 3D printed on the Ultimaker 2 using black PLA. Layer height is 1.2mm for a combination of speed and exceptional quality. Total run time was around 14 hours split in half due to the fact this was printed in two separate pieces then glued together.
Yah The holo sight attachment isn't the best but it's hard to grip the little thing to sand it or trim it.

CPKC train G18 has just left the yard at Farnham Quebec headed for Newport VT. From time to time the CP and VRS borrow power on an as needed basis. On this particular day the CP/VTR duo will take the train all the way to White River Jct.
Still pretty much the same as my last few frames, only with a roomier cab, some shoulder variations, and a couple new guns.

My highlight of the show, a rare survivor of the second-generation Sierra-based P100 built in Portugal. The Californian appears to have been a 'lifestyle' version with the side graphics, roll bar, spotlights and bull bars as standard fitment. The alloy wheels are from a later Transit - unlike the Sierra, P100s used a Transit back axle and Granada front hubs with adapters to take five-stud Transit wheels.
