This is a clone of the old Shin-Ei Companion FY-2 fuzz, but it's got a twist.
If you've ever tried one of the old Companion fuzz pedals, you know that they seldom achieved unity gain. So you'd kick it on and your volume would drop a little. Not exactly ideal for banging into a solo.
This Fuzz Dog board has a post-fuzz boost that's really loud. The way it's shown in the photos is at unity gain. The Fuzz control is dimed and the Volume control is almost all the way down.
When I opened the front door, I saw white fuzzy thing was floating in the air. It flew up so high and disappeared...then came down and landed on an azalea shrub. About 1/4 long or less. The body is white and hairy (like cotton ball.)
Maybe two hours later I went out again then I saw maybe 20 of them were hovering in the air about 10 to 15 feet high. They looked like many white fuzz in the air. The way they fly was different and more like dandelion parachutes are floating in the air. They kept coming from NE and flew away to SW. It was an amazing sight. I have never seen this insect before in person. A fricker gentleman ID this insect for me. :)
