It is fair to say that the few restaurants, snack bars and takeaways in my village offer food that is best described as international. Even the fish and chips shop has kebabs on the menu. What has gone international in the village is taste. Cultural fusion happens first in the kitchen. Mentalities take a lot longer to change (or fuse). Fuji X-E2 plus Helios 44M-7 at approx. F16.
Chassé theatre, Breda, The Netherlands. This modern theatre 'melts' with the ancient army barracks at your left, almost flowing over them. And the design of the square brings all the elements togethe, even on a gloomy day.

2nd March 2016 - EMF Technology were down on Pierhead last night promoting Septembers Fusion Festival at Otterspool. I just happened to be in the area:
Aus zwei mach eins. In der Kantstraße am Breitscheidtplatz stehen rechts das Luxushotel Waldorf Astoria und links das Hochhaus Upper West mit dem Motel One für das kleine Portemonai.
Aus zwei Fotos habe ich in DxO und Nic Collection HDR Efex beide Fotos zui einem verarbeitet.
Leider hatten wir in Berlin einen total Ausfall und so kann ich erst jetzt die Beschreibung fertigstellen und sie veröffentlichen.

Two become one. On Kantstraße at Breitscheidtplatz, the luxury Waldorf Astoria hotel stands on the right and the Upper West tower block with the Motel One for the small purse on the left.
I used DxO and Nic Collection HDR Efex to turn two photos into one.
Unfortunately we had a total breakdown in Berlin and so I can only now finalise the description and publish it.

Deux font un. Dans la Kantstraße, sur la Breitscheidtplatz, se trouvent à droite l'hôtel de luxe Waldorf Astoria et à gauche la tour Upper West avec le Motel One pour les petites bourses.
À partir de deux photos, j'ai traité les deux photos en une seule dans DxO et Nic Collection HDR Efex.
Malheureusement, nous avons eu une panne totale à Berlin et ce n'est que maintenant que je peux terminer la description et la publier.

Here is something a little more creative from me and something that seems to be trending a lot just now just to the lockdown. I took an image and played around with things in Photoshop and Lightroom and created this which in my mind looks like light fusing together, You may see something different so I would be interested to know what you see and think.

Before I took up photography I was a professional jazz saxophonist, with a special penchant for "Fusion," a combination of jazz and rock. The Dukoff mouthpieces shown here were popularized in the '70's by Michael Brecker, in my opinion the greatest fusion saxophonist who ever lived.
The image scale measures just under 2½-inches across.

The subjects were illuminated by two Nikon SB900 speedlights, each fired through a Neewer 24" x 24" soft box. The speedlights were placed 45-degrees CL and CR, one-foot above and two-feet away from the subject, facing down at a 45-degree angle. Both speedlights were fired in Manual mode @ 1⁄64 -0.7EV power.
The SB900's were triggered by three PocketWizard Plus X's.
