Funk definition
A bad odor; a stench. : What is that ghastly funk in here?
A depressed state. : I've been in such a funk that I can't get my work done.
Cowardice; terror. : She suffers this terrible funk whenever she has to give a talk.
A kind of blues rock; jazz based on gospel music. : Man, groove on that funk, would ya?

Buildings along Main Street in downtown Funk, Nebraska. The post office seems to be the only going concern here.
Most people mellow out as they get older. But some people remain true to themselves and who they really are.
These people will never give up the funk! More power to
guys like "Brother Funk" :-)
Union Pacific Railroad's South Local splits the crossing at Funks Grove, Illinois as it heads south for Springfield. An abandoned gasoline pump is the only sign of what had been a business here in this sleepy Central Illinois grove.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: I feel very lucky to have so many of the 2002 and 2003 Funk 'N' Glow ensembles. In fact, I have mostly complete clothing/accessories for all the dolls released between the two years. I unexpectedly found listings for mint Bratz clothes and a few dolls on eBay sometime in 2013. The seller had each lot organized by character. This 2002 Funk 'N' Glow Sasha ensemble, as well as the 2003 one, were both part of the Sasha lot obviously. I still sadly do not have this Funk 'N' Glow Sasha doll even after all these years. It's honestly not the easiest task tracking down Sasha dolls ever, and the Funk 'N' Glow line isn't as obtainable as some of the other earlier Bratz collections (like Xpress It! or Formal Funk). I'd love to find Sasha herself one day. While I find the 2003 version of her to be prettier, I like how the 2002 doll resembles Xpress It! Sasha. Xpress It! was my very first Sasha doll, so she'll always be an iconic Bratz to me, and I love how the 2002 Funk 'N' Glow looks like a fancier, glitterized version! As for these clothes, I definitely prefer the look of the jeans/furry vest combo. It seems more special than the asymmetrical top and skirt look (not to say I don't love it too). The furry vest and gold top are especially flattering on Sasha's warm, dark skin tone. The flocked cowgirl hat is a unique touch too, although I can't see my younger self having used it for everyday play (it's a bit much).
