Anonymous candid street photography - Southend on Sea. Easter weekend and a brilliant 27deg C brought out the crowds to enjoy the sun and water. The water jets in the paving allowed for some candid photography of children enjoying themselves.
Derek was so good with Wilder -the demanding nearly-2-year-old. He insisted on always having the kickboards at hand, yet he never did anything with them except occasionally pour water on top. I've got a silly boy. Thank goodness he has patient aunts and uncles.
A few variations of beach culture in Australia. Sunshine, sand, surf, what more do young Aussies want?

Pool toys....so much fun. Do you ever wonder if like the Velveteen Rabbit they have a mind of their own? This little plastic toy looked so happy to just be relaxing on his own far from his owners fingers, soaking up some sun!

Nikki's graduation party at Mother's in Moss Point, MS. This is me and Kelly pre-pass out. We had seafood from Bozo's and Italian Margherita's and then bumper-boat fights in the pool. We all passed out in Mother's great room late in the afternoon all worn out. What a great party THAT was!

This pic was taken on Flag Day- June 14, 2007, at Flagler Beach. Florida is known for its breathtaking cloud formations in the summer months, and this day was full of them! It was a picture perfect beach day! I have a corrected version saved which straightened the horizon, but lost too much of the left, bottom side of the pic, and the woman's foot was almost removed! I decided to keep this one showing instead for that reason.
