My name is Jane, and I'm embarking on a journey that I hope inspires people around the globe. I'm videoblogging and blogging about it at www.IncredibleJane.com
The blog follows my story as I rediscover myself and my passion for triathlons, having given up training some years ago to focus on having a family. I take on the challenge of finding the fine balance between my family and my love for sport, as I strive to lose weight, change my dietary habits, and train daily to reach my goal of competing in a mini triathlon in May 2010.
But, among all of the hard work, FUN FRIDAYS are all about FUN. This is my first Friday submission!

Now accepting ANY suggestions for themes.
This is being posted in both here and The Forum (New Theme - forum.fotothing.com/topic/971/18280 ), along with Facebook and ipernity (maybe even flickr).
We are also asking for help in a couple of ways:
1) Need a few "reliable" people to assist in posting weekly examples on a timely basis. By reliable - we mean posting the example on the way to your surgery or letting all the others know as early in advance as possible that you will be unable to post.
This will be managed/performed as a team participation, allowing for few hours on alternating weeks per person - as opposed to one person doing it week after week after week. :-)
2) When submitting suggestions, first search for the word "funfriday" in the search box - it will bring up every photo that has "funfriday" in it's "tags" line.
3) For 2014 themes - please add your suggestions to the previous list of suggestions. It makes it 1000% easier to put together a list for us. If you have problems adding the previous list to yours, ask for help.
If all else fails, just select the previous listed suggestions - copy, then paste before putting your suggestions at the end.
4) Repeating themes is OK. Even if we've done it 5 times already. Please remember this is supposed to be a no-pressure, fun activity.
I have spent many, many hours working to carry on this wonderful participation event every week. I truly believe that Fernando turned this over to us because of the huge investment of emotion, creativity and time running each week and the yearly culling of topics assigned to appropriate weeks.
Please remember that your entry doesn't have to be a literal choice - it can be anything that you see or reminds you of the current weeks theme.
This weekly fun event brings a lot of joy to those playing - even being able to make new friends.
