The Coronation was celebrated at Newstead Abbey with a traditional vintage funfair. The weather was glorious on Sunday the 7th and it attracted a large crowd.
The last in the series of fairground photos from 'the Embankment' in Peterborough.
It was the first occasion that I had tried out 'light trails', so was quite pleased with the results.
Longer exposure at the funfair in Madeley, Telford, Shropshire UK. Cropped from the original as I managed to attract the interest of a woman and she got in the shot!
While the Olympic Games were taking place, a funfair was erected on Blackheath, presumably to capitalise on the number of visitors for the equestrian events in Greenwich Park, and also those watching the Games on a big screen erected by Lewisham Council in the south western corner of the heath.
