From my ferris wheel tub I'm enjoying the aerial view of the city of Tilburg. The smooth and silent ride is delightful, the pink funfair is fun and the people are friendly and beautiful. What a perfect summer day!

Would you let your child go in there all alone. Scanned from 35mm......probably 36 years old.....dont know who the child was

Bit of a tense atmosphere here - almost feels like a prelude to some gypsy-style 'grabbing'

The funfair onCentral Pier in Blackpool at dusk. Attempting to highlight light and shape against a blue background.

a small and infamous funfair taking place in the town.

You may remember the Britannia Miniatures jingle truck purchased earlier this year. This was a very rough casting that required a lot of filling and sanding but following some careful painting has turned out quite well as a showman's lorry. I have cut down the top of the body as I felt it was too high, and replaced the awful original wheels with some spare EFE ones. Britannia have modified the front panel to disguise its origins as a copy of the Trackside cab, but it is still very obviously a Mickey Mouse Foden.

The Corgi 'Truckers' range may have been released about 30 years ago as toys, but can be made into very decent models and I still rate them. Having accumulated about half a dozen of the Ford Cargos I decided it was time to give one a makeover and F412 LNM is the result. The only modification is to fit Cararama wheels and otherwise it has just had a coat of paint and some Langley funfair transfers applied, but I think it holds its own alongside newer models.
