The Avondale Library Youth Department presented its own production of "Little Red Riding Hood" in honor of World Folktales and Fairytales week. Then we broke into stations as we learned to chop wood, toss axes, make trail mix, and roll logs.It was a night of fun for everyone! Starring Children's Librarian Carla Perkins as Little Red Riding Hood.
I love the fairies at Bristol (The Fantastikals). I love Epona (the storm pony) more than anything. She's recaptured the same mischievous energy that "Blue fish boy" had a few years ago. If I have to choose one favorite, it'd be her (and not just because we bonded over Rice Krispies treats).

Back in 2005, my friend Corey and I took a roadtrip to Florida! We visited his grandparents on one side of the state, and then some friends of ours on the other side. The brother we stayed with had a teenage son and daughter that he asked us to take back to Pennsylvania as they were going to stay with friends, and since we were in the state anyway, it was more convenient for us to take them back. We had tons of fun-among the places we went to was the Everglades (those swamp alligators were neat!) and a Packard museum (they had some cars made before World War 1)
