The Fuller Building, now referred to as the Flatiron Building was built in 1902 and was one of the tallest buildings in New York at the time. It is considered one of the world's most iconic skyscrapers and a symbol of NYC.

The lobby has mosaic floors with ornamental and decorative themes similar to the building logo medallion.
The lower 12 floors of the building were designed especially for art galleries with their high ceilings.
The top of the tower is built in high Art Deco style with zigzags, stars, and sun-like patterns.
Completed for the Fuller Construction Co., the leading construction firm of the early 20th Century. The Fuller Company previously occupied the Flatiron Building." From Emporus

The Flatiron Building.
Originally known as the Fuller Building, it was designed for the Fuller Company by Daniel Burnham (1846-1912) and completed in 1902.
Taken on the observation deck, on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building.
The Empire State Building, at 350 5th Avenue. The art deco skyscraper was designed by William F. Lamb (1893-1952) from the architectural firm Shreve, Lamb and Harmon.
At 1,454ft tall (and 102 storeys), this was the tallest building in the world for almost 40 years, until the World Trade Center's North Tower was completed in late 1970. Construction lasted just 15 months, ans was carried out by 3,400 workers, five of whom died (according to official records). Total construction costs came to $40,948,900 at the time.
