This was shot wide open at f3.5 at closest focusing distance of about 1 metre, hence the very shallow depth of field. And I was under the impression this camera wouldn't be any good for portraiture...
To fully appreciate it, check the "original size". I imagine this could easily hold for 50 megapixel size scan. A 690 frame is double the image area compared to a 645 frame

I must have underexposed this terribly, by 2-3 stops, looks as grainy as 35mm film

I don't remember if it was shot wide open at 3.5 or at 5.6, but it would seem logical that it was shot at 5.6 since I've experienced f3.5 is often too shallow a depth of field for practical applications especially at close focusing distande.
Taken while waiting to cross the road (standing under the so called "Svampen at Stureplan in central Stockholm).
Both I and the subject were standing in the shadow while it was sunny in the street hence the backlit effect.

This could be that crying girl in the preceeding shot in 50-55 years time...
However, for reasons of continuity the young girl should have been photographed in b&w in this type of old train and the old lady should have been photographed in the new train and in colour.
