There is a story behind this candid. The girl was checking her mobile phone screen, looked like she was reading a sms message over and over again and she's blowing her nose now and then so I figure she might be having a terrrible cold. Then I see she's been crying, sobbing, teareyed, skin flushed red. So whatever she read in that sms message it got her real down, first thing that comes to mind is being dumped by her loved one. It's a shame I didn't get more of her face into the shot, but I didn't want to spoil the candid moment. You will just have to believe me I guess...

I have always had a love/hate relationship with color film. I think it’s mostly because I rarely got the results I wanted or imagined and that “light and airy look” of overexposed Portra promoted by various wedding photographers made me sick to my stomach.
