And on we go from Tokyo. Thanks to all for the kind words on the series of images I have posted from Tokyo on here.

Need to start work on other images I have in my archive.

Where to next?

On the tube in London. As so many 'live' on their smartphones I wonder how verbal interactions between people will be affected long term. The tube has never been a hotbed on conversation so maybe messaging whilst travelling this way is a good thing?

From personal experience my attention span has shortened since the advent of personal mass digital communication, whether that would have happened anyway if I'd never owned a mobile to message and surf with I'll never really know. But I suspect not. Many has been the time I wanted to ditch the smartphone and go back to a button device but they're just too useful, aren't they?

Looking down from Lendal Bridge in York to the steps which lead up to the Perky Peacock coffee shop.

At Borough Market recently.

Drivers beware - phone junkie about to cross the road! There's 2 out of 4 of the people in the photo seemingly concentrating on there phones and not where they're heading. I hope one of the other 2 people have the local emergency ambulance on speed dial... 😬

I was trying to make a witty title out of the shop name but just couldn't be bothered to. Apathy, it's not a good thing.

I finally got behind the gate of this old, partially abandoned factory for about five minutes before I was politely escorted off the premises. Came away with a few images at least.
