On the way to the m/c field we stopped

at the village gas station for 1 liter of fuel.

The dogs are excited cuz they know we

will soon be at their favorite play ground.

And yes they rolled on many open bags

of cow manure and stunk like hell ;-0-

And yes once home they were all

hosed down while still tethered

in the sidecar. Part of the deal.

Right now the sky has opened

up and torrential monsoon

rains are falling upon us.

But we're all inside ;-)

I wasn't driving the car but as my friend went to pay for the fuel I saw a photo opportunity like I do. Some of you will know I can be quite partial to having a picture taken.

Goddwin-Alco built DL541, 603 hauls six ATGF fuel tanks through Birkenhead bound for the Mobil Siding about 1km further down the track on 27th August 2003.

603 was still working for Genesee & Wyoming/ Wesfarmers joint owned Australian Railroad Group at this point and was later sold to South Spur in 2005.
