This is another/slid version of last Macro Monday's bubble theme. I am looking into a frosted glass of Diet Coke that is sitting on a Fall tablecloth. HSS & HTT!
For the Crazy Tuesday topic "Perfume/Aftershave Bottle/Flacon"
Nowadays our perfumes come all sealed up in their product bottles ... but there used to be such a choice of perfume dispensers to choose between! This one is an oval of frosted glass with a cut glass stopper and resting in a cradle of Art Nouveau design. So much more delightful! There's a shot of the other side design (a butterfly) in the first comment field.

A small perfume bottle with colourful enamelled friend and the flowers they might visit 😊
Storms battering us here in northern Scotland .... and power cuts might follow. So I'll comment if I can, and apologies if I am slow!!
Have a happy weekend, and stay safe!

I must have picked this up from a beach many years ago, I thought it was very special to have such a thing.
It's a small one, 2" long without the "strings" or whatever you call these.
I put this on frosted glass which is balanced on a drinking glass which in turn was placed on a soft light. I took one picture without the drinking glass but it looked boring. So there you go.
in memory of a favorite prop with a story.
i broke it last week.
i imagine the mourning period will not be over until i cut my foot on a piece of that frosted blue glass.
to remind me.
i miss it.

Corrugated steel church hall (c. mid 20th Century).
Churches are renowned for being rich, yet they are always whingeing about roof repairs etc. Look at the state of this place, maintenance appears to be off the list of priorities.

This is a close-up photo of a frosted glass panel situated between booths in a restaurant in Yarmouth.
Windows, shutters & seating outside the Three Bullet Gate pub in New Ross HWW! Taken back in June when I joined a very informative historical walking tour around the town. The vibrant flowers in the window box really stand out well against the proliferation of black.
