A Frontline OBO (Ore Bulk Oil Carrier) being nudged into the fitting out berth at HHI, Ulsan after launch. Note the hatch covers for bulk cargoes and the hose-handling crane amidships for oil cargoes.
Despite being a good idea, OBOs were never structurally comfortable ships, and this one, in common with others, was latterly changed to a pure bulk carrier.
On the left can be seen an HHI Goliath crane and on the right a Shipping Corporation of India LPG Carrier. A murky day.
