My first #Frogust build looked a little glum, so I made it a friend. Now they can be glum together!

That toad ate the chair! Ahh!

Rounding out my #Frogust builds with this round little guy!

It’s time for Frogust once again! Simon Liu and I have started a new group here called FROGust! If anyone else wants to join the pond with a cute web-footed friend!

Frogustus (also known as Frogtavian), founder of the Frogan Empire, sought to conquer the shores of the Mediterranean Pond.

Built for Frogust!

Curious and gentle by nature, these Rahi are favored pets among Ga-Matoran. Thanks to their latent elemental attunement to gravity, they rise and sink at will despite being exceptionally heavy for their size. Trained Honu are occasionally used to help stabilize and anchor larger fishing vessels.

Built for #Shelltember - after hearing of yet another monthly theme tied to cute amphibian animals pop up in the wake of Time for Crab and Frogust, I knew I had to participate. Unfortunately no SHIPtember for me this year!

Relatively quiet year for MOCs as priorities shifted to other areas of life.

Most likely would have had even fewer if some friends,

Pohutaron and Maxx Davidson, had not organized a creative calender challenge throughout the year that helped me remember to join quite a few fun theme months: Droneuary, Febrovery, Marchitecture, TimeforCrab, Frogust, and Novvember.

-

Of course, over the summer had to do some castle building with John as we hosted the Summer Joust again. Which was super fun and rewarding. Thanks a lot to all of you who participate, or otherwise engage, and make the event what it is.

-

My biggest project of the year was a revamp of the Grand Titan, a contribution to the massive Exo Force collaborative displayed at Skaerbaek Fan Weekend. Everyone clearly had a blast building for it, and the final result was epic for sure!

2026 looks to be another slow year for MOCs, though I'll still get at least a few things finished.

On the product design side, February 2025 marked my 5 year anniversary as a designer at The LEGO Group, which felt pretty crazy. And a bunch of new sets I worked on hit shelves. Including some for themes I had not worked on before: One Piece and Architecture.

I remain incredibly blessed and thankful to work with amazing people doing something I truly enjoy.

I call him: FWOG

This is my slightly late Frogust build! Had some fun with the colors and the surprising amount of light nougat parts available these days!

Enjoy!

#Frogust continues! These hip little guys will grow up soon enough, but they’re having plenty of fun in the meantime 🐸

Are you ready for Minecraft Live? No?

Frogs are, so you have to be prepared

This silly, yet funny frog was built for #FROGust and based on the frog in Minecraft and more precisly on the Minecraft Live 2022 Announcement Trailer (Give it a look, it's hilarious)

Building this little buddy was amazing and I just love it! Mostly because I love the design from Minecraft.

I nearly didn't participate to frogust cause of time but I just had to, it would have been too sad not to.

I'm happy now and frogs are amazing, aren't they?

Hope you like it :)

Because it's Frogust!

A very distinguished looking frog built for "Frogust" 2025

My first year as a part of the Lego community has been nothing but great. I've been blessed to meet a lot of new people, make new friends, improve my building (and photography) skills, and even join RebelLUG

I made six builds for Summer Joust 2025, two of which received an honorable mention.

I participated in Vignweek, making another six builds in a week, and ended up coming first place for the non-members.

Afterwards I made a Little frog wearing a top hat for Frogust, one of many fun Building prompts this year, Followed by dan.ko 's Shelltember which I also participated in.

I was then asked by my friend syrdarian to make a build to help promote his new prompt, NovHENber, which was a ton of fun.

In December, I made a quick figbarf based on my favorite novel for Brickscalibur

And "wrapping up" the year I made a build for forlornempire for RebelLUG's Secret Santa.

Thank you to all of the people who have made this the best year yet, and I'm looking forward to an even better year in 2026. See y'all then. Have a blessed New Years.

Some question whether the icecream is part of its body.

a frog for #FROGust

Another Frogust creation, which I built all the way back on August 2, before the challenge had even been officially kicked off. I had hoped to make it to a local tropical greenhouse to take a picture, but this will have to due since Frogust is coming to an end.

Brother versus brother

Chicken versus Chicken

Meet AnikHEN Skywalker and Obi Wan kHENobi two Jedi, only one a master.

I sadly never participated in Frogust or Shelltember but here is my take on Novhenber.

A little late...but couldn´t stay away from FROGust, seemed like way too much fun. And it was :) youtu.be/5pSB3YP5EFU?si=UiwrwJ4oiyULRtDB

Here is my participation in the #frogust challenge.

In the spirit of Frogust, here's an alternate fourth model of the LEGO Creator Cute Bunny 3in1, set 31162.

A small and fun #frogust build. 🐸

Here is my participation in the #frogust challenge.

I’m willing #Frogust into existence! Small and late start this year, but keep an eye out next year 👀

A poison dart frog build for #Frogust 2025 at the very last day. Ribbit

I hope everyone takes cares of my shy little Frogs, they need plenty of attention and wuv. If you got one then you were kind to me, or I liked your build or you’re awesome.

Special thanks to @millionprints for quick turn around of my silly idea.

I wanted to mark my @brickcon_official keynote with a special token. which of course was designed, procured, printed and completed during #FROGust.

Here’s the instructions for anyone that wanted to make their own shy little Frogs.

Here is my participation in the #frogust challenge.

Last day of August, just in time!

Built for #Frogust2024 spearheaded by Maxx - #Frogust will return next year!

Some action shots showing off the little scanner/gun, laser sword and metal detector I made to go along with this build!

I went on a walk to try and clear out my head.

but a fly so bothersome, kept giving me dread

Then a little voice sounded, from down near the floor

"Hi there! I've dealt with such issues before"

It was a tiny wee frog, looking at me with glee

So I reached out to it, and said "ok, let's see"

He jumped on my hand, and croaked a big smile,

then he snapped up that fly, with oodles of style

This is my fifth build for round two of the Iron Forge 2025. I couldn't help myself but do another animal build, and I am really happy with how this little fella came out!

The seed part, minifigure head, was used three times. Once for the body of the fly, and two on the frog's eyes. Only two are visible due to the angle of the photo.

Mentioned on "This Week in LEGO Bricks"

A little chicken for novHENber. I missed out on frogust and jointhepond these past months. But i was determined to not miss this one!

It’s time for Frogust once again! Simon Liu and I have started a new group here called FROGust! If anyone else wants to join the pond with a cute web-footed friend!

A crash landing on Rygel VII was not in the flight plan, but little Si is ready to take down some bugs.

HAPPY #FROGust!

The FrogNation Carrier safely transports the Frogsplorers in style to explore strange new worlds.

Procrastinated way too long, was reminded of this great month by flickr.com/photos/193793729@N04/ and got this guy out. He'll be protecting it's precious cargo to @BrickCon

You still have time for FROGust!

RIBBIT!

Shelltember! After two amazing months (#Frogust and #TimeForCrab), I think this September, it’s time for some turtles or anything with shells. Of course as a big ninja turtles fan, I’ll build few of those guys in different styles and share the instructions. Everything from the TMNT universe is welcome!

If you decide to join the fun, you can either join the Flickr group or post on instagram with hashtag #shelltember2025. It’s not a contest, just a challenge :)

Free instructions for these guys on tinybrick.world - enjoy!

P.S. Don’t forget that it’s also Shiptember!
