Clicked at the street of Kolkata, West Bengal.

I'm on a trail leading from the Danish History Museum located in the middle of nowhere in Elhorn, Iowa, to an incredibly small and functional chapel.

Streetza, Jay's Juiced and American Euros served hundreds of hungry walkers at the Best Buddies Friendship Walk at Manpower in Milwaukee on Saturday April 21st.

WHAT IS THE BEST BUDDIES

FRIENDSHIP WALK?

The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is a fun-filled community fundraiser to support your local Best Buddies programs of inclusion. Our friendship, integrated employment and leadership programs educate people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to be advocates for social inclusion in your community.

Since the first Friendship Walk in 2009, they have become an integral part of the Best Buddies annual calendar. Our walks not only raise essential funds for our local offices that directly impact the strength of our programs, but also provide a powerful public awareness event.

Each walk affords us the opportunity to celebrate the importance of the Best Buddies mission, educate the public on the need for social inclusion, and empower people with IDD to become leaders within their community.

In 2011 alone, over 9,000 walkers collected over $750,000 for their local Best Buddies offices.

Lead by example, become a participant, team captain, or a sponsor and learn more about our cause while teaching others the benefits of inclusion.
